CHAMPION UCD Millknock To Cyr, With Love, CD, CDX-C, RN

I'm EXTREMELY happy to announce Cyrano finished his championship at Somerset Hills KC on Sept 8, 2012!!  Cyr is the first dog I've owned to get a breed championship title.  I got serious campaigning him November 2011 and he obtained his title in 10 months in limited showing.  He was always pretty much in the running, if not picking up pts. for wins, he picked up reserves most of the time.  So far this year has been wonderfully successful for us as not only getting this champion status, but also picking up three High in Trials, two of them at our National Specialty.  So, now we can relax and concentrate on performance.  Did I say relax????   With obedience, agility, herding and tracking looming, guess that's not an appropriate word!  But with such a focused and fun dog to work with, I will enjoy these challenges.  I'm SO proud of my boy!!!!    Photo to be posted when I get it.

Pat Scully recently celebrated her 45th anniversay as a member of K-9 Obedience Training Club, and a Certificate of Honor was issued to commemorate the event.  Pat's appreciation is best understood in her words:

"It is indeed a pleasure and an honor for me to celebrate the 45th anniversary of my membership in K-9 Obedience Training Club of Essex County, NJ.  I have always been very proud of our activities, and have cherished the friendships of our members.  I trained my first Pug at K-9 in 1965 in a class taught by Dick D’Ambrisi.  I started traveling on this long road so many years ago; and I treasure all the wonderful memories. Thank you K-9 OTC of Essex County, NJ, and all its outstanding members.  May success and exceptional achievements be yours."
